Chin Up Chin Up are a polished indie rock/alt-pop band from Chicago. Their sound really doesn’t sit comfortably in a box, which makes it all the easier to pick them up every once in awhile. They’ve got a very approachable sound, and I’ve only ever listened to their 2004 release which rated second to their 2006 according to allmusic! Look at that! Seems like I have some listening to do!

For the past few years, I haven’t celebrated my birthday to any great extent because I really never saw the big deal. Now, I’ve come to realize that it’s just an excuse to get a bunch of your friends to do what you want to do for a few hours without excuses. Guilt tripping FTW. Bowling, Dic Ann’s, and Cranium. Satisfactory birthday fun.
