What Lost would be like if it were an animated series. All these designs by the very talented Michael Blaine Myers, Jr.

Ugly Americans
by Jamie on Apr.27, 2010, under Humour, Marketing
Drunk Wizards make awful social workers as evidenced by this frame right here. When you create a Success/Failure board, you would hope to have a positive ratio, but Ugly Americans does everything you really didn’t think they would…And does it well.
Set in a New York styled city, imagine that every fable ever told has come to pass and then some. Every B-Movie villain, a whole slew of vampires, zombies, aliens, demons, etc. exist in this world and coexist in the everyday work environment.
Our protagonist, Mark, is a human working for a soulless corporation as their token bleeding heart as a social worker helping to rehabilitate the obscure citizens back into functional members of society.
If the show holds its standard of art production and writing, I have high hopes. Unfortunately, I can’t see the show holding up this calibre of work for more than a season or two and I expect it to fade out into cult obscurity like Clone High.
It’s on, right after South Park on Comedy Central. Watch it!
And if you want to see a beautiful piece of work, their marketing is quite beautiful. Enjoy their PDF pamphlet.
Trouble with PDF files, download Foxit Reader, it’s much faster than Adobe Acrobat.
